For me there is always something about the sound of waterfalls, a breath of fresh air, or the streak of clouds on a sunny day that always makes me feel rejuvenated. "I want to visit and see as many parks, reserves, hidden streams and falls in NZ as much as I can", I decreed a few days after setting foot in New Zealand last year. And so since acquiring our own bikes a few weeks ago, we've done exactly that. We explored every hidden gem in the nooks and crannies of our home's vicinity; crossed bridges; braved ~20KMs with friends that culminated with a lovely view from atop Mt. Roskilland it isn't even summer yet. ⁣⁣

One spring afternoon we stopped by a coffee shop, as we usually do, after a biking session. We were sitting outside the shop, the sun was warm, the coffee aromatic. I drew near Joe to tell him how happy and content I was, and that no other luxury in the world could be more pleasant than rewarding views, nature, and a good cup of coffee. There's this thing called mastering the art of happiness, and no, I haven't mastered it yet. But I believe I'm on the right 'track'.⁣⁣

So, where to next?
